I was born and raised a Husky for a reason, I think. WSU was awesome, but now I get to go home to the rain, my animals, and my amazing friends and family. Turns out it's true that if you're away from home for a while, you learn what you really love about it. But I also have a love for the farm side of the state I never had before and since I've spent so much time thinking about the UW since I got accepted, here are the things I love about Pullman:

-how the weather forcast consists of looking out the window and guessing how long it will take the clouds on the horizon to finally roll in
-when the magpies clean your gutters by throwing leaves out of them
-how you literally get stuck behind tractors driving down the state highway
-how it takes about an hour to walk the entire diameter of the town
-how there are two groups of people in Pullman: Cougar students and old people who used to be Cougar students
-when you memorize all the landmarks between Pullman and the westside, especially: the llama farm, Colfax, Dusty, the Dusty grain elevator, Washtucna, the Washtucna grain elevator, the crazy-cool trees, Othello...
-the first snow that befuddles all the freshman westsiders - why don't they cancel class when a foot of snow drops overnight??
-when going to Moscow, ID is the event of the week...
-how the entire town seems to shake when the Cougars score a touchdown
